Haroldston Farmhouse; Review of
The Vine Inn, Johnston; 01437 890611

The Vine has the obvious advantage of being quite close to Haroldston.   The premises are deceptively large and can seat many more customers than you would expect.   The pub changed hands in July 2011 and Alun Evans, the current owner, is very friendly, welcoming and professional. The food is reasonably priced, locally sourced and well produced. Alun takes considerable pride in the excellent real ales that he serves from a wide variety and changing range of breweries.

The Christopher Family – August 2011. “Very welcoming, good service and can book for large group. Basic pub menu but tasty and well cooked.”

The Greening Family - October 2013 (extract from TripAdvisor). “Jeannie and Martin, the owners, recommended "The Vine" pub and restaurant in Johnston, to us, and I'm so glad they did. We had a lovely meal there to celebrate all the birthdays.”

Directions; Turn left out of the end of the drive.   Go to the end of St Issells Avenue and turn right at the Tee junction.   Continue under the railway bridge, to the traffic island (Macdonalds is on your left).   Take the first exit onto the  towards Milford Haven.   After arriving at Johnston (about 3 miles), look out for the Vine on the right, quite close to the start of the village.
