Directions to start of walk; OS Map Ref 975139
Turn left out of the end of the drive. Go to the end of St Issells Avenue and turn right at the Tee junction.
Continue under the railway bridge, to the traffic island (Macdonalds is on your left). Turn right at the island (4th exit) into Freemens Way. At the end of Freemens Way, take the 4th exit off the island, signposted to Uzmaston.
Drive the 1½ miles to Uzmaston, going straight through the village and descending a steep hill, which ends at a stone bridge. Continue on, passing 3 bungalows on your right and the entrance to Hanton Farm on your left. In another 100 yards, you will see a lay by on your right. Park here.
Continue on in the same direction, turning first left towards Norchard. Walk the 1 mile to Norchard, arriving at a house and a row of cottages on your left. At the last cottage, turn left and proceed through the gateway of Woodleys, following the tarmacked drive down to the farm buildings. At the end, turn left along a distinct farm road, along side a post & rail fence.
Go through a farm gate and over a stream and continue in the same direction, across an open field, to a further gate. This leads into a narrow lane. Walk 180 yards to the tee junction and turn left.
Follow this lane for 1¼ miles to the crossroads at Creamston. Turn left here and walk approx 450 yards before taking a further left turn. Follow this lane for just over ¾ mile to the village of Uzmaston.
At the tee junction, turn left and walk the ½ mile back to your vehicle.
