Haroldston Farmhouse; Review of
Something’s Cooking, Letterston; 01348 840621

Something's Cooking, LetterstonSomething’s Cooking is ostensibly a chip shop with a restaurant.   However, they certainly make some of the best fish and chips in the UK and were featured on national TV in Rick Stein’s Taste of Britain programme.   To quote Rick;  “Everything was satisfying, the staff, the manager but above all the chips”.   The restaurant has recently been refurbished in what you would probably call a ‘continental’ style and is certainly very clean and smart.   Something’s Cooking tends to be busy in the season and we don’t think that you can book.

Directions; Turn left out of the end of the drive.   Go to the end of St Issells Avenue and turn right at the Tee junction.   Continue under the railway bridge, to the traffic island (Macdonalds is on your left).   Turn right at the island (4th exit) into Freemens Way.   At the end of Freemens Way, continue straight on at the traffic island and lights, following the signs for the A40 and Fishguard over 3 more islands.   Continue on the A40 for 15 miles until you reach Letterston. Something’s Cooking is on your right.
