Haroldston Farmhouse; Review of The Griffin,
Dale; 01646 636227

We have eaten here on a few occasions, over the years and have no complaints. Frequency of visits has only been restricted by distance. However, if you are touring in that area (or walking the Coast Path), it is a really nice traditional pub in a lovely spot at the back of the marina.

The Hayes Family; April 2013. “Superb Food; wonderful local beer; child friendly.

Directions - Turn left out of the end of the drive.   Go to the end of St Issells Avenue and turn right at the Tee junction.   Continue under the railway bridge, to the traffic island (Macdonalds is on your left).   Go straight on at the island (3rd exit) up Merlins hill.   Turn left at the next island, into Scarrowscant Lane.   In 400 yards, pass the junction with Snowdrop Lane on your right and then turn immediately left (still Scarrowscant Lane).   Continue to the cross roads with B4327.   Turn left and follow the B4327 and signs for Dale.   You will arrive at the village in about 9 miles. The Griffin is at the far end of the village just past the yacht club.
